Tania María Ríos Marrero & Grimaldi Baez

Tania María Ríos Marrero and Grimaldi Baez are herbal medicine makers and aspiring farmers. In 2020, they apprenticed at Truelove and deepened their relationship to Puerto Rican foodways and medicine traditions. They had access to a garden in Philadelphia, PA and spent the summer and fall growing ajíes dulces for the Truelove collection. They are grateful for the opportunity to learn seed keeping alongside the Truelove community.
